Inaction on climate change too risky
In a letter to the Editor on July 9th, ClimateWorks outlines why inaction on climate change poses the greatest threat to our economy, summarising the financial benefits that can be captured through energy efficiency. The letter was in response to an opinion piece and critique of the Low Carbon Growth Plan by Alan Oxley on July 6th that misrepresents the ClimateWorks report and its findings.

Costly mistake to defer carbon cuts
ClimateWorks Australia's Anna Skarbek, writes about how the Low Carbon Growth Plan demonstrates that the cost of action is less than most people think, due to the savings captured through energy efficiency.
This is a response to Terry McCrann's opinion piece of 8th July, which argues we should not act on climate change because of the economic costs, and also criticises the Low Carbon Growth Plan on the basis of Oxley's critique.
