4:00 PM – 5:00 PM AEDT

The Climate & Recovery Initiative brings together prominent leaders from government, business and civil society to identify the best ideas for aligning Australia’s economic recovery with a transition towards a net zero emissions economy, and to get them into the right hands. It is coordinated by CPD and ClimateWorks Australia, with a steering group that includes the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group), the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU), and Pollination.

The public forum will take stock of developments in Australia and overseas, including accelerating corporate and regulatory responses to climate risk and new net zero commitments from Australia’s major trading partners. With an incoming Biden administration poised to add to global momentum on climate and clean energy, how will Australia’s road towards COP26 be reshaped – and how can we ensure a climate-aligned recovery that prepares us for the challenges and transitions ahead?

We hope you can join us for the discussion.
