Chief Executive Officer
Anna Skarbek is CEO of Climateworks Centre, working to develop the low carbon economy.
Head of Strategy
Amandine leads Climateworks’ System Change and Capability team, which applies a systems change approach to support the organisation’s ambition for real-life impact at scale.
Chief Operations Officer
Bhavika leads Operations at Climateworks Centre. Applying a people-centric approach, Bhavika leads, builds and implements best practice models for successful running of the organisation’s operations functions.
Ian leads Climateworks’ program delivery team which aims to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions in Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific across four physical systems – Energy, Industry, Cities and Food, Land and Oceans – and three enabling systems: Sustainable Economies, Sustainable Finance and Sustainable Corporates.
Head of International and Country Context
Meg leads Climateworks’ international and country context teams, with a focus on business development, strategic relationship management and political and policy context analysis across Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. She led the expansion of Climateworks’ footprint into Southeast Asia and the Pacific, including establishing a team in Indonesia.
Senior Project Manager
Alison works in the Sustainable Economies team, managing activities with states and territories on 2050 Pathways, and assisting Australian governments at the state level to achieve their domestic emission reductions targets.
Amrit’s expertise is communicating through design. As such, she continues to develop the organisation’s brand’s voice, bringing its impacts to life through visual storytelling and delivering Climateworks’ mission by expanding its visual presence across the full body of work.
Country Lead - Australia
Anna heads the Australian Country Context team which takes an outward facing approach to enhance Climateworks’ understanding of the political and economic landscape.
Executive Assistant to Chief Operations Officer and Head of Portfolio Management
Bonny works in the Operations Team, where she provides high level administrative and operational support.
Editorial and Communications Manager
Caroline manages Climateworks’ multi-disciplinary editorial and communications team to amplify the organisation’s impact across Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Celina is a manager in the Food, Land and Oceans system team, leading the Land Use Futures program – a multi-year initiative developing pathways to sustainable land use for Australia.
Coral leads data gathering and analysis for Climateworks’ Net Zero Momentum Tracker project – the first project ever to centralise data and track Australia’s progress towards net zero emissions across key sectors of the economy.
Senior Project Manager
Dani leads Climateworks’ long term strategies (LTS) program, implementing climate change mitigation activities and supporting capacity in developing countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A founding member of Climateworks’ International program, Dani was responsible for conducting a feasibility study, leading on partnership development and establishing funding opportunities with international donors.
Senior Adviser Systems Change
David is leading the development of Climateworks’ monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) system, including approaches to support organisational, system and initiative level analysis and adaptation. His role includes designing and supporting learning-oriented processes that encourage teams to test and adjust their respective system-level Theories of Change as well as the ongoing refinement of organisational monitoring metrics and results.
Dr. Emi Gui
System Lead - Energy
Emi leads the development of initiatives and programs in energy system decarbonisation, electricity sector transitions and net zero energy planning in Australia and Southeast Asia.
Emma manages policy for Australia in the International and Country Context team.
Senior Analyst (Economics and Governance)
Fikri is part of Climateworks’ Indonesia team. He is responsible for designing economic and governance research through applying qualitative and quantitative research, including economic modelling, and supporting robust data analysis, with a specific focus on Indonesia.
Freya supports Climateworks’ development team, wider organisation staff and external philanthropic partners in developing strong philanthropic relationships, engagement, culture and processes, to grow the organisation’s ambition and vision.
Country Lead - Indonesia
Guntur leads Climateworks’ Indonesian team, enhancing Climateworks’ understanding of the region by providing context around policy, politics, and the economic landscape.
Haley is a key team member in the Land Use Futures program – a multi-year, cross-sectoral initiative supporting the shift to sustainable food and land use in Australia, with national and international partners.
Business Planning Manager
Heather leads Climateworks’ business planning processes. This includes supporting teams to translate long-term thinking into practical, measurable plans as well as coordinating organisation-wide design and approval processes.
Transport Program Impact Manager
Helen leads Climateworks’ transport program, working with government and industry stakeholders to define a common vision and action plan to move the sector to zero emissions.
Holly manages educational and capacity building activities that enable systems and individuals to take action in managing climate risks and reducing emissions.

Janna has over fourteen years’ experience in top-tier management consulting and senior management positions.
Jannata (Egi) Giwangkara
Senior Project Manager (Energy Systems)
Egi works within Climateworks’ Indonesian team, responsible for assessing opportunities and acting as a trusted advisor to important stakeholders.
Jay works within Climateworks’ Research, Analysis & Modelling team, coordinating modelling capabilities across the organisation.
Systems Change Acceleration Lead
Jess leads the Systems Change Acceleration team, which focuses on developing and embedding approaches and core capabilities that will increase Climateworks’ ability to influence system change.
Senior Project Manager - Engagement
Jo leads engagement activities for the Land Use Futures program, which is developing information and prompting action towards sustainable food and land use systems in Australia.
Program Coordinator - Australian Industry ETI
Jordan provides a range of high-level program coordination services to support the end-to-end delivery of Industry system programs.
Dr. John Vong
Sustainable Finance Lead
John provides technical assistance to regulators, institutions, and the private sector to create enabling environments for mobilising capital towards achieving net zero and Paris-aligned objectives.
Program Impact Manager - Natural Capital
Katie leads the Natural Capital Investment Initiative which was established to develop tools and processes that support the scaling of natural capital measurement across Australia.
Kulja is the Climateworks communications lead and director of our multidisciplinary group of editorial, design, digital, content and knowledge specialists.
Senior Project Manager – Engagement
Kylie is responsible for managing program impact within the Industry system, focusing on the Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative.

Lani is a Senior Project Manager within the Sustainable Economies team where she works on a range of projects with a focus on policy implications.
Government and Stakeholder Engagement Manager
Based in Climateworks’ Perth office, Laura assists Climateworks’ system teams to engage effectively with Western Australian stakeholders and leads our work on industry decarbonisation policy across Australia.
Lauren works within the Australia Country team, which takes an outward facing approach to enhance Climateworks’ understanding of policy and economic landscapes.
System Lead - Food Land and Oceans
Liam leads Climateworks’ efforts to reduce emissions within the Food, Land & Ocean system across Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
As Development Manager, Liz sits within the Philanthropy team. Her focus is on securing funding for international projects – building partnerships and collaborations to accelerate solutions for greater traction on net zero goals.
Senior Advisor - Systems change collaboration
Louise is passionate about designing the transition to net zero with community, experts and government – which makes her role at Climateworks ideal, as Louise leads collaboration, working with systems and country teams to design and deliver collaborative programs.
System Lead – Cities
Margot leads Climateworks’ Cities team, aiming to accelerate the transition to net zero across cities and the urban environment through the decarbonisation of buildings, transport and infrastructure.
Governance and Business Support Manager
Matt leads the Climateworks business support team which ensures seamless delivery of governance and support functions across the organisation.
Research and Analysis Manager
Within Climateworks’ System Change and Capability team, Marine supports and coordinates all research, modelling and analysis capabilities at Climateworks in line with the objective of achieving system-level change.
Mei provides analytical support to the Sustainable Corporates team, focusing on translating 1.5C aligned multi-sectoral climate scenario outputs into tangible actions and benchmarks for businesses.
Dr Mei Zi Tan
Senior Analyst - Energy
Mei Zi works within Climateworks’ Energy System team, supporting the development of programs to accelerate energy transition in Southeast Asia. Her role includes working on the International Climate Change Engagement Program, and designing and organising capacity-building activities for ASEAN stakeholders, to strengthen their energy and climate change capacity in implementing Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) – the goals at the heart of the UN Paris Climate Agreement. Previously, Mei Zi worked as a Research fellow at the National University of Malaysia and the University of Science Malaysia, and as sessional teaching staff at Monash University Business School.
Melanie von Schorlemer
Executive Assistant to Head of System Change and Capability and Head of International and Country Context
Melanie delivers administrative support to Climateworks’ International team, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and supporting the central Business Support team.
Senior Analyst - Global and Regional Affairs
Michael works within the International and Country Context team, focusing on the political economy of climate change action, the climate-development nexus, regional and global affairs, and strategic partnerships for climate action.
Research and Analysis Manager
Michael supports and coordinates research, modelling and analysis capabilities at Climateworks, in line with the organisation’s strategic objective of achieving systems-level change.
Knowledge Impact Manager
As an information professional with over 20 years’ experience, Michael’s skills combine senior management experience, business analysis, knowledge management and a focus on user experience.
Minalee works in the Capacity Building team within the Sustainable Corporates system.
Working in the international team, Mirza undertakes data analysis and modelling for a range of projects while also supporting project preparation in Indonesia.
Nelika works within Climateworks’ Australia Country team, providing a range of high-level program coordination services to support the end-to-end delivery of programs to accelerate systems change.
Writer and Production Editor
Nicky supports Climateworks’ communications team in delivering timely communication to amplify the impact of the organisation’s net zero systems change work. Returning to Climateworks after a sabbatical, Nicky draws on her experience translating decarbonisation pathways technical analysis for a broad range of audiences, along with three decades’ expertise in writing and editing.
Petra works within the International and Country Context team, supporting data analysis and policy analysis, focusing on gaps and opportunities for sustainable finance in Indonesia. Petra started as a student intern at Climateworks, supporting the International team on the Indonesia Electricity Roadmap, working on regulatory analysis and energy sectoral planning and development.

Rachel works within the Cities System, managing the delivery of projects to accelerate transport sector emission reductions in Australia.
Ro is a senior analyst working on the Australian Industry Energy Transition Initiative, in the Industry system.
System Lead - Industry
Rob is the Industry system lead and program director of the Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative (ETI) – a collaborative effort supporting industry and business leaders to collectively learn, develop research and take actions to move industry supply chains towards net zero emissions by mid-century.
Dr. Romy Zyngier
Senior Research Manager
Romy works within the Land Use Futures program, a multi-year, cross-sectoral initiative supporting the shift to sustainable food and land use in Australia, with national and international partners.
Ronnie supports the Operations team, managing Monash Sustainable Development Institute’s ‘city hub’ office.
System Lead - Sustainable Economies
Rupert leads our Sustainable Economies system, supporting the development of net zero strategies and aligned policy.
Dr. Sali Bache
Senior Project Manager
Sali is the international policy lead at Climateworks, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.
Office Manager and Executive Assistant to CEO and Chair
Sam provides high-level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and Chair. She contributes over two decades of experience in office administration and was one of the first to join the Climateworks team.
Sarah contributes to Climateworks’ initiatives for energy and transport sectors. With Monash University transitioning to net zero emissions by 2030, Sarah manages projects aiming to translate the lessons learnt from the Monash Energy Transformation to the broader grid, including a particular focus on demand management.
Simon leads analysis on state and territory government policy, as part of Climateworks’ Sustainable Economies system.
Simone works with Climateworks’ CEO, Senior Leadership team and philanthropic partners to develop and implement philanthropic strategic alignment, engagement and investment – to support the organisation’s mission to catalyse net zero emissions.
Senior Adviser – Communication Initiatives
Sophie leads the development of initiatives to grow Climateworks’ communications and digital capabilities as well as brand reputation.
Program Impact Manager - Sustainable Corporates
Tom oversees a program of work designed to support Australian corporates on their path to net zero through research, capacity building, and enabling a supportive external environment.

Tyra works within the Industry System, where she is dedicated to working on the Australian Industry Energy Transition Initiative program.
