Senhao currently works in Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative (ETI) program within the Industry System. He delivers technical research and analysis on decarbonisation opportunities across various industrial supply chains such as iron and steel, aluminium and chemicals. Since joining ClimateWorks in 2019, He has also worked in the Energy System contributing to government advisory projects as well as the energy sector report for Net Zero Momentum Tracker.
Prior to joining ClimateWorks Australia, Senhao developed his analytical skills through a range of research projects. He has developed a method to analyse lightweight concrete pore distribution based on 3D laser scanning technology which can increase energy efficiency in the construction industry. He has also conducted a research project in national park governance and produced a polycentric governance framework based on a case study at Kenting National Park in Taiwan.
Senhao holds a Bachelor of Environments (Geomatics) and a Master of Engineering (Spatial) from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford. He is interested in bringing his geospatial expertise to tackle climate change challenges.
